Physics

The Physics department has 12 regular faculty and about 43 graduate students. Faculty and students in the department carry out research in a broad range of fields - from experimental and theoretical studies of fundamental interactions to applied research in medical and condensed matter physics. This diversity creates an active and collegial atmosphere both for coursework and for student research, and gives students the opportunity to learn about a variety of fields.
